Description

Sharpless 115 is an emission nebula in Cygnus. It is about 7,500 light years from Earth. It is close to the North America nebula. The red in the nebula is powered by the stars in the open cluster Berkeley 90.

While it is a faily large nebula, it is very faint making this object fairly difficult to image and process.
